Camps Concept
We have put a lot of energy this year to provide the best accommodation possible. The desert can be rough and your safety and comfort is very important to us. In order to provide you with a unique desert camping we have teamed up with one of the most prestigious desert camping solutions providers in the region. As part of this deal we will contribute funds from every ticket to aid the financial developmental of the area.
Erfoud is a patch of the Sahara desert considered a tourist destination and as such Nomadstribe has made the promise to authorities and itself to make this event sustainable. Use of the regions nomad accommodation service providers promotes the local economy. These people know what they are doing and brings excellent desert accommodation, the perfect final touch to add to the experience. Nomadstribe does not profit from the accommodation services, which are served by a local provider as explained below.
So, making the necessity an asset, this year, we have pushed our camping concept to the tribal limit to offer you a real desert camping experience with the maximum comfort possible. We advise you to book a space in the Nomads Tent Camp or Space Camp with us because those are the best ways to keep safe and comfortable in the desert.
However we understand that staying in such tents its not available to everyone's budget so we have made arrangements for a special Self-Camping site for regular tents with a limit of 300 personal tents. You need to pre-register for camping at our website.
Our camping concept this year is thus divided in to the following options in accommodation:
- Self-Camping (Max 300 people)
- Nomads Camp
- Space Camp
We will divide the camping area in different numbered encampments and tents. Each one will have all the necessary facilities such as restaurants, showers, toilets and open air spaces with chill out music.
